Cami Checketts is a prolific author of clean romantic suspense novels. We started from scratch to build her a brand new identity complete with a website that housed all her books with links direct to buy from Amazon (and a few other sites on some books.) She has over 150 books published, so we utilized Dyanmic pages to display everything beautifully.

This website is my most advanced an adaptive site ever created on Wix so far. Take a peak and see all the various hover interactions, animations, the beauty of using datasets and Velo to customize how things display.

The biggest part of this project was making it EASY for the customer to update her site. By utilizing collections, my client is able to go and update a couple lines of her database with each new release and content updates on SEVERAL pages at once. She NEVER has to get into the editor to keep her readers up to date on her books. 

Chip-faced is the best gift-giving stop you can make. They sell EDIBLE cookie dough and ship it across the country. Delicious, affordable, and a very pleasant surprise to the receiving end. 

Thus far my role in Chip-faced has been as a consultant and editor. I have been contributing by improving SEO, customer experience, and streamlining backend processes. 

However, this is an on-going, phased project where we are also working on a new brand identity and new offerings. I will contribute more on the design side as the project progresses.

Julie was my very first web design client and we recently refreshed her site. It is a  classic, easy on the eyes site—perfect for authors just starting out.

As my experience has grown, I wanted to take some best practices and bring her site up to date a bit more.

This site utilizes some code to display custom images differently between mobile and desktop to provide the same effect. 

While this basic template is my offering for authors, it can easily be adapted to any small business that wants a clean site with photo-heavy CTAs.

Here is an example of a simple site perfect for resume/portfolios or pushing a single product. 

Kingfisher Ministries' website utilizes full-stretch strips which required attention to have images display well at all screen sizes.

Purple Willow Press is a new publishing house, dedicated to providing an excellent experience for their authors and readers. 

While content is low at the moment, we have the site easily navigable with routes separated for different audiences. Contact forms are most necessary at this time as they are recruiting new authors. 

It is also home to several landing pages that are linked from books for readers to receive swag and birthday surprises, etc.
