HOW IT WORKS Your customer shops normally and picks your deposit option at checkout. The full order is recorded with correct price, tax, shipping and inventory, marked partly paid. The buyer pays the deposit right away, and you send a balance link when the order is ready. No spreadsheets, no placeholder products, no manual card entry. Some trades call this a down payment — the mechanics are the same. SETUP Two one-time steps in your dashboard: enable a manual payment method named for deposits, and publish a Payment Request Page. The app walks you through both.
