A grid of your photographs. Click one and it opens over the page, full size, with the next and the previous picture one key away.
The part most gallery widgets get wrong is the part you cannot see. Here the lightbox is a real dialog. Focus moves into it and cannot wander onto the page behind, the arrow keys step through the pictures, Escape closes it, and when it closes you are back on the exact thumbnail you opened. The page underneath does not scroll away while you are looking. A screen reader is told which picture is open, in its own language.
Every image carries two pieces of your own writing: a description, read out instead of the photograph to someone who cannot see it, and a caption, shown under the picture. The settings panel counts the images you have not described yet. Neither is ever rewritten or translated.
Columns, spacing, thumbnail shape, corner rounding, captions and all four colours are yours, on both plans.
What it does not do: it shows pictures from your own media library. No video, no slideshow that plays itself, no zooming into a photograph, no album folders, and nothing pulled out of your store or your blog.
Free for ever on 12 images. Twelve languages.
