"Are you open right now?" is the question visitors ask most often, and a static list of opening hours never answers it. SmartHours puts a small live badge anywhere on the site: Open now, Closing soon, or Closed. It works the answer out from the hours you type in once, and it keeps itself current minute by minute — no code, no maintenance, nothing to switch on and off by hand. It also handles the things real businesses actually do: lunch breaks, several time ranges in one day, hours that run past midnight, vacation periods, and one-off special dates. Public holidays for ten countries are built in, down to Swiss cantons, German Länder and UK nations, with Easter calculated automatically. Everything runs in the business time zone, so a visitor from abroad sees the real state of the shop. Twelve presets get you started — Badge, Card, Banner and Inline, each one left, centred or right — and every part of it is editable: a background colour per state, border, corners, fonts, shadow. The interface speaks seventeen languages. Ideal for shops, restaurants, bakeries, hairdressers, studios, pharmacies, garages and any business with a door that opens and closes.
